DARA J. MEREDITH

Dara J. Meredith, a native of Atlanta, GA began her training at Tri-Cities High School and Total Dance/Dancical Productions. She earned her BFA in dance education from the University of the Arts and received her MFA from Temple University.  Her choreography has been performed by Eleone Dance Theatre, premiered at IABD, and received the People’s Choice Award for the International Solo Dance Festival in Stuttgart, Germany.  She has performed the works of E. Leon Evans, II, Shawn-Lamere Williams, Milton Myers, Katherine Dunham, Dianne McIntyre, Wayne St. David, Christopher Huggins, Tommy Waheed Evans, and Gary Jeter.  She is Eleone’s Rehearsal Director and Assistant Artistic Director.  She made her debut with Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2001.

 

A’ALIYAH KHAN

A’aliyah Khan is from Philadelphia, PA where she attended the Creative and Performing Arts High School and the University of the Arts.  She has performed works by Dianne McIntyre, Katherine Dunham, E. Leon Evans, II, Shawn-Lamere Williams, Wayne St. David, Christopher Huggins, Tommy Waheed Evans, Gary Jeter, and Kyle Clark.  She made her debut with Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2004.

 

ANTHONY RHODES

Anthony Rhodes hails from Camden, NH.  He is a graduate of the Creative and Performing Arts High School.  His choreography was featured in the 2008 and 2014 Philadelphia Film Festivals and BET’s Black Girls Rock.  He has performed the works of E. Leon Evans, II, Shawn-Lamere Williams, Christopher Huggins, Gary Jeter, Molly Misgalla, Lamar Baylor, Dara J. Meredith, Tommy Waheed Evans, and Kyle Clark.  Anthony was member of Eleone Connection for five years and is currently a rehearsal assistant for Eleone.  He joined Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2011.

 

MEGHAN MCFERRAN

Meghan McFerran hails from Albany, NY.  She is a senior working towards her B.F.A. in Dance and her B.A. in Journalism Temple University.  She has performed works by E. Leon Evans, II, Shawn-Lamere Williams, Tommy Waheed Evans, Gary Jeter, Kyle Clark, Molly Misgalla, and Lamar Baylor.  She joined Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2014.

 

MICHELE DOOLEY

Michele Dooley hails from Philadelphia, PA.  She attends the University of the Arts.  She has performed the works of E. Leone Evans, II, Molly Misgalla, Dara J. Meredith, Gary Jeter, Kyle Clark, and Lamar Baylor.  Michele was a member of Eleone Connection and a 2014 Eleone company apprentice.  She made her debut as a company member of Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2015.

 

ONYXX NOELMAYER-DEAN

Onyxx Noel Mayer-Dean is from Newark, DE, trained at the Christina Cultural Arts Center, and dedicates dance to her late grandparents, William E. Mayer and Betty Ann Gallman-Mayer.  She graduated from Paul M. Hodgson Vocational Technical High School and now attends the University of the Arts as a dance major.  She has performed the works of E. Leon Evans, II, Molly Misgalla, Dara J. Meredith, Gary Jeter, Kyle Clark, and Lamar Baylor.  Onyxx was a member of Eleone Connection, a company apprentice in 2014, and made her debut as a company member of Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2015.

 

NAKISISA WEBB

Nakisisa Webb resides in Philadelphia, PA.  He has performed works by E. Leon Evans, II, Dara J. Meredith, Kyle Clark, and Lamar Baylor.  He was a member of Eleone Connection and a 2014 Eleone company apprentice.  He made his debut as a company member of Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2015.

 

JASON GONZALEZ

Jason Gonzalez hails from Pennsauken, NJ.  He is a graduate of the University of the Arts.  He has choreographed for the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders.  He has performed the works of E. Leon Evans, II, Shawn-Lamere Williams, Dara J. Meredith, Gary Jeter, Lamar Baylor, and Kyle Clark.  He joined Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2015

 

MARQUES GREGORY FURR

Marques Gregory Furr of Nashville, TN began his formal training at the Nashville School of the Arts.  He now attends the University of the Arts as a dance major.  He is the recipient of the Tennessee Dance Festival’s Kitty Sharp Ballet Award.  He has performed the works of E. Leon Evans, Dara J. Meredith, Gary Jeter, Kyle Clark, and Lamar Baylor. Marques was a 2015 company apprentice and made his debut as a company member of Eleone Dance Theatre in fall 2016.

ALIYAH ETHERIDGE

Aliyah Etheridge hails from Washington, DC.  She is a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and trained with the Washington Ballet.  She attends the University of the Arts.  Aliyah is a 2016 company apprentice with Eleone Dance Theatre.

CHERAÉ GRIMES

Cheraé Grimes is a native of Philadelphia, PA.  She attends the University of the Arts and trained at Eleone Dance Unlimited.  She was a member of Eleone Connection and is a 2016 company apprentice with Eleone Dance Theatre.

INDIA JONES

India Jones hails from Holmes, PA.  She is a graduate of the Creative and Performing Arts High School and trained at Eleone Dance Unlimited.  She was a member of Eleone Connection and is a 2016 company apprentice with Eleone Dance Theatre.

ZAKI MARSHALL

Zaki Marshall hails from East Orange, NJ.  He attended the Dance Theater of Harlem’s Summer Intensive and currently attends the University of the Arts.  Zaki is a 2016 company apprentice with Eleone Dance Theatre.

KENNETH MARTIN

Kenneth Martin is a native of Philadelphia, PA.  He is a graduate of the Creative and Performing Arts High School.  He studied at the Debbie Allen Summer Intensive and Eleone Dance Unlimited.  He was a member of Eleone Connection and is a 2016 company apprentice with Eleone Dance Theatre.

OMAR-FREDERICK PRATT

Omar-Frederick Pratt is from Camden, NJ.  He is a graduate of the University of the Arts.  He is a vocal music instructor for Creative Arts High School, a Minister of Music, and a pianist.  He is a 2016 company apprentice with Eleone Dance Theatre.

MELODY TAYLOR

Melody Taylor hails from Clinton, MD.  She attends Temple University.  She is a 2016 company apprentice with Eleone Dance Theatre.
